A playful take on the Death’s Head hawkmoth. A beautiful surreal sculpture with an eerie charm and otherworldliness to hang on your wall.

I made the plaster skull and gilded it with golden coloured metal leaf, then varnished it . There is some tarnishing. Please ask for details if interested in purchasing.
The wings are embellished in copper veined glass mosaic, stained glass and my own hand gilded glass.
Size: 26cm wingspan , skull (without antennae) 12cm top to bottom, depth is 14cm from wall.
