Description

Piastrina is a glass mosaic smalti with a more regular appearance without as many holes and irregularities that are characteristic to the ordinary smalti.
The tiles generally have a level surface and they are easy to work with.
You can use mosaic nippers to cut them and pva glue or tile cement to stick them.
It is hand made in Venice.
The tesserae are mostly half cuts and thirds of tiles that were 20mm x 20mm and 4mm thick.
The price is for 140g of piastrina.
There are approximately 45 pieces.
Will cover an area approx 8cm x 8cm.
