Orange and yellow piastrina offcuts

Description

Piastrina is a glass mosaic smalti with a more regular appearance without as many holes and irregularities that are characteristic to the ordinary smalti.
It generally has a level surface and it’s easier to work with. It is hand made in Venice.
The tesserae here are approx 4mm – 5mm thick, cuts ranging in size from 20mm down to 5mm.

Easy to cut with mosaic nippers, use pva glue or tile cement to stick them.

There may be a little cement on some of the pieces from being pre loved!
The price is for 135g of piastrina.
There are approximately 70 pieces.
Will cover an area approx 8cm x 8cm.
