Transparent cobalt blue smalti

Description

Lovely transparent cobalt blue smalti from Venice. Smalti is a handmade mosaic glass tile especially for mosaic work. It has been made since the Byzantine era for making mosaic in the Basilicas around the Mediterranean. It’s frost proof and easy to cut with mosaic nippers. Size is approx 2cm x 1 cm x 5mm
Pack size is 100g – about 35 – 40 pieces.
Use a white adhesive or fix with silicone onto mirror for best effect!
