Beautiful Big Bee wall sculpture
Beautiful mosaic bee with textile wings.
The bee is constructed in a light weight material and cement mixture. The bee skin is a black stained glass and my own exclusive hand gilded golden metal leaf glass cut into strips to represent the hairs on a bumble bee body. It has a flowery milliefiori bottom , wire legs and antennae. The wings are made with a silky acrylic material and hand stitched to represent the wing segments.
The bee measures 18cm / 7″ head to tail and 45cm wing span.
