Just imagine if you could escape by bee to explore new territories and imaginary lands!
Be the wild fairy you want to be and travel by bee to find your magic island!
This bee was based on a tree bumble bee.
The bee is constructed in a light weight material and cement mixture. The bee skin is made with black stained glass and my own exclusive hand gilded golden metal leaf glass cut into strips to represent the hairs on a bumble bee body. It has a flowery milliefiori bottom , copper wire legs, and antennae. The wings are covered in iridescent stained glass.
The fairy is made of different coloured wires.
Size from head to tail is 20cm / 8″, wingspan is 41cm / 16″ . The depth of the whole sculpture including the fairy is 20cm / 8″
* The fairy is removable so you do have an option to buy the bee sculpture alone at £350 if you wish.
