Gregory the Golden bird

He is made using my exclusive hand gilded metal leaf glass and exudes wabi sabi ! For several years I have gilded clear glass with different colours of metal leaf and used it in my work. The beautiful imperfections in the metal leaf colour might change a little over the years in small fluctuations (tarnishing and turning bronze colours) but it will generally stay golden if kept indoors. The beauty of my bird wall sculptures are that they look quite realistic due to a 3D body and front wing, making them a really beautiful and unique collectible piece of art.
