Navy / denim piastrina smalti

Description

Piastrina is a glass mosaic smalti with a more regular appearance without as many holes and irregularities that are characteristic to the ordinary smalti.
It generally has a level surface and it’s easier to work with.
You can use mosaic nippers to cut them and pva glue or tile cement to stick them.
They are hand made in Venice.
The tesserae are 20mm x 20mm and 4mm thick, although there maybe a few smaller cuts.
The price is for 144g of piastrina. Sort of blueish navy one side and denim the other.
There are 29 tiles.
Will cover an area approx 8cm x 8cm.
