Street Art

I thought it was about time (again) to add a post about something other than mosaic!

Another fascination I have is with street art, especially  graffiti art.

Here are some snaps of some graffiti I have found recently.

Apart from the striking images, Graffiti art appeals to me as it is an “outsider art” in a similar way to the way mosaic art might be perceived. It defy’ s the restrictions of mainstream art and craft, finding an alternative route into our culture.
