Description
Flying beetle wall sculpture, entirely handmade and unique artwork. Mosaic and mixed media. The beetle body is cast from plaster of Paris and gilded with beautiful coloured metal leaf then varnished for extra protection. The wings are constructed of wire and mod roc and covered in black stained glass and my own exclusive gilded glass (two metal leaf colours ) . The head is also covered in hand gilded glass. All the glass is cut by hand.
Size : wing tip to wing tip 31cm, body (top of head to bottom of thorax) 12cm, depth from the wall to wing tip 13cm.
