Seeing Starlings Sculpture Launch
For the last few weeks I have been making starlings for a sculpture trail on Shapwick Heath nature reserve along the Avalon Marshes in Somerset. As you know I have become completely obsessed with these amazing birds even after they have left the area! I wanted to make my own flock so that would always…
Frozen in time
It isn’t long now before I have to get some new work finished for an exhibition at the Craft Gallery at the Dartington Cider Press Centre (famous for its Dartington Glass) . It has been a busy year with lions and workshops and the work I have been planning for this exhibition has had to…

As I have been teaching mosaic workshops at the Heritage Courtyard Studios and Gallery in Wells, I was delighted when a small studio became vacant. This makes things a little easier when it comes to storing workshop materials and being able to show my work to students and collectors. I also work in it, the…

New Works in the making.

Wow! Hi is such a handsome guy! I love the final video. I had guessed his name to be Zion so was wrong! You must be so proud and sad to have him go.
Thanks Sam – yes sorry to see him go , but at least I have a bit more room in my workshed!
Thank you for dropping by my blog and letting me know about the video. I’ve always admired mosaics, but have never seen one made, so the video was fascinating and fun. As it played, I couldn’t help thinking it was like a great big 3D puzzle and then I noticed the name of the music! I think Zillion is going to have loads of admirers. If you don’t mind I’d like to put a link in my blog to your post with the video on it. Congrats on a fantastic looking Lion.
Thanks Cheryl
