Mosaic workshops

During my exhibition “Passage” I held workshops in the gallery.  4 students attended, 3  beginners and 1 who had attended my Ammerdown course last year.  My friend and helper Jean, also came along.

Since last year at Ammerdown I have found that it is very useful for students to make a simple coaster before their main project. This enables them to get the hang of cutting the mosaic materials.

I have posted their mosaics on the mosaic workshops page under Bath Artists studios 2010. As usual I am very proud of their achievements.

This is Elizabeth’s mosaic. She did the mosaic mix course. I love the energy in her piece that depicts beautifully the waves crashing to shore.
