Sweat and Tears – part 4
Having already drawn around my polystyrene tears onto brown paper I can make them up indirectly. I could mosaic directly onto the surface of the tears but as some of my tiles are different depths, the indirect method will enable me to get a fairly level surface easier and quicker.
I made 12 tears for this side of the sculpture.
As some of the tiles I have used have a different coloured back, from this photo you cannot really get an idea of what it will be like. Even though I chose the colours, cut the tiles and laid them there will also be an element of surprise for me too!
Such is the beauty of mosaic!
