Mosaic Mix Weekend

An enjoyable weekend. It was a small class this time, but fun, and I was  impressed with the work produced. I have posted photos of students with their work on the workshops pages.

This is a piece by Felicity that I found particularly impressive. The aim of the workshop was to make textural mosaics using a mixture of materials. Felicity got into the swing of things and she used marble, smalti, slate, ceramic tile, marbles, shells, marbles, mirror, tempered glass and glass chippings, fossils, and stones . It reminds me of an ancient  city with a river running through the middle  …..
